Bimmerboys Start of Season Meet II at the Ace Cafe 14/03/2015

With 2014 being a busy year for many with the meets and shows it has quite literally flown by. So, we fast forward quite quickly with 2015 and looks to be a bigger year with more meets and shows.

A couple of new additions this year is the BMW Car Club hosting a meet at the Duxford Museum on the 3rd of May and the Car Collective taking place at the Penhurst Place in Tonbridge, Kent on the 17th of May. Look out for coverage from these new ones as well as the many more coming up this year.

This brings us to the meet attended at Ace Cafe. Hosted by the Bimmer Boys club this was a great way to kick start 2015. First formed in 2013 it boasts a large following over 6000 likes on their facebook page which is pretty good going for a club that's been around for a short space of time.

Last year they hosted the Season Meet I which was well attended and so brings us to meet number II. Spaces were allocated for 50 cars with most attending the show. Although the weather was a bit on the unkind side the chill and cloudy day didn't put off too many.

There was a good mix of BM's in attendance from old school E24's to tastefully styled E92 coupes.

Neils classy Z4 was in attendance looking as sharp as ever.

This E93 had some nice enhancements.
The E30 tourer owned by HTS Motorsport seen at many of the shows last year was sporting a new set of Schmidt wheels which sits well with the retro look of the E30.
George's 6 featured in Performance BMW Mag Nov 2013 was also in attendance looking as slick as ever.
As was Kos from C-Unit's award winning 6 series.
Ben Youngs aired out E92 coupe looked stunning.
Vish's Atlantis blue tourer was in attendance. Big plans for this car so watch this space.
Sams E92 coupe has had a new addition with newly installed air ride and now sits well on its winter wheels.
Tallis's M3 which was featured recently in Performance BMW mag has recently bought a set of new wheels so with a new look, watch this space.

The meet was definitely a great start to the year with a good crowd and showing of cars. Well done to the Bimmer Boys for organising this meet.

Lookout later this year as Bimmer Boys will be hosting the second outing of the Bimmer & Burgers meet at Mstyle in Romford, Essex. Last years meet had a big turnout and was well received and if last years show is anything to go by this year will be expected to be even bigger. I would highly recommend adding it to your diaries.
